News ItemBi-Visibility Day

This occasion is observed annually on 23rd September, and has been ever since 1999! Bi-Visibility Day is to recognise and celebrate bisexual history, the bisexual community and culture, and all the bisexual people in the world.

Some people stereotype bisexuality as being confused and undecided, or more likely to cheat in a relationship. This stigma can result in discrimination, which is being challenged by UNISON.

The UNISON Northamptonshire County branch is celebrating Bi-Visibility Day on Friday 22nd September (day before). There will be stall in the atrium at One Angel Square* with leaflets and freebies, and during lunchtime you can pop along to chat with a UNISON officer.

(*N.B. This event can only be accessed if you work for NCC, First for Wellbeing or Northamptonshire Highways).

Please helps to raise awareness of Bi-Visibility Day by using social media:-
